i know this has to be here somewhere but....

anyway

im 38 weeks. im losing my insurance when i have the baby, sometimes it hurts to chew, and im missing half one tooth and a lot of the top of a bottom molar. i cant get fillings without xrays..andthe fillings i NEED.

so is the xray harmful to the baby?
the dentist said after 3 months hell do it because the baby is only growing at tht point, and he tried the coiver on me, it covers my neck to mid thigh and halfway around me....

im really nervous but i have alreadyh ad 2 pulled, bottom molars, when i ws 13 and 14, and my top one thats missing a lot is almost to that point as well or i wouldnt even be thinking about this. i had my appt the other day, he just kinda clened them and made an appt this week so i had time to think because at first i flat refused..since you can see these two so obviously, kwim?.

thanks for any help you can give! i desperately need it!

I had to have an xray today and the hygenist used two shields for me. You could suggest that, if they don't. I was a little nervous about it, but they called my ob and she said in my particular situation, it seemed more important to get the xray. Could you call your OB/midwife and ask them what they think?
