Domperidone??

Does anyone know the absolute MAXIMUM amount of Dom you can take per day. I am taking 3 tabs, 3 times per day and still not producing enough milk.... I seem to remember you can take more.

I don't know the limit - Dr. Newman recommends starting with 9 tablets a day, my Dr. won't prescribe more than 8/day.
I would email Dr. Jack Newman - he'll get back to you really fast and he'll know for sure. His website is awesome too (Google it )

Used to be 160mg/day but Dr. Newman and other guy... Dr. Hale?... recently reported that can cause heart issues in mom, so I believe it's 120mg/day now.

I took 120mg/day with my last baby.

I emailed Jack and he told me I could take 40 mg 4 times per day!!!! That seems really high...

Personally, I'd trust what Newman says. If you don't feel comfortable going that high try a little less - maybe 120mg/day.

I upped my dose from 3pills 3x per day to 4 pills 3x a day and I noticed a huge increase in my milk supply.
