The babies are 11 weeks old and lately they have taken to napping more during the day and then staying up late at night. Tonight we put them down at 8:00 pm and at 8:40 they were both awake and hungry. They nursed off and on and we eventually got them down at 11:00 pm.
I think they are gearing up for a growth spurt with all the extra nursing, but I want to start getting them to a bedtime routine. Am I foolish for thinking that I can start a bedtime routine at 11 weeks? I end up staying up late to get stuff done because I spend so much time nursing, I'm ready for a break.
Sorry that this has been rambling, I'm tired and I should be heading off to bed.

He has been nursing 'himself' in my sleep since the first week, which is just about my favourite thing he does because I'm usually pretty well rested. We do have a pattern during the week because my husband works nights so we settle in at about 5-7 am. The only one in our house with a schedule is the dog because she really prefers predictability and sighs and pouts when we do something late.
