Help - Painful Nursing

I don't know what to do. I posted this already in the "Breastfeeding Beyond Infancy", but got not replies. I'm hoping someone can help me out. DD is 14 months and still nurses regularly. Lately, nursing has become less enjoyable due to discomfort. I'm not sure if it's her teeth digging into my breast/nipples or the fact that I started AF again (just a month ago). I've never had trouble with nursing so this is very upsetting. It almost makes me want to stop nursing. This morning I woke up with, what appears to be, a small blister on my nipple. Ouch! I've heard women complaining about painful nursing because of pregnancy, but I highly doubt that I am pregnant. Any suggestions, advice, stories??? Please!

Youch! So sorry...

Yes, I had much more nipple tenderness come around the time of AF's return (about a week before each month, just like PMS). Have you noticed a latch change? DS's latch changed when he started liking sippy cups and so we've had to work on him really opening his mouth wide to latch on (now a game) and that has helped some.

Let the blister get lots of air too ((((hugs))))

Well, I just started up AF again so it's been kind of out of whack. So, at the moment, I finished AF so I don't understand why I would be extra tender now. Maybe there is a latch change since her teeth came in (4 on top and 2 on the bottom). I've noticed that when I hold my breast and place it in her mouth, it isn't as uncomfortable as before. Don't know what the difference would be.
