Baby Greens Diaper Co.

I haven't ordered directly from the maker http://www.diaperpin.com/directory/d...ail.asp?id=262 , but I think you can.

I have a number of the hemp fitted one-size dipes and I love them. My dd is a very heavy wetter, and it's taken me a long time to find a night-time combo that works. I combine a Baby Greens hemp fitted with their nightime double (awesome fleece layer keeps her very dry) and a wool cover.

I love them.

BGDC also sells a contour dipe, that I've read nice things about (haven't tried myself), and a couple cleansers, including a wipes wash that I am anxiously awaiting.

I have ordered mine from www.diaperware.com and http://www.littlesproutsdiapers.com

While I liked the design of the one size diaper (and the fact that it's hemp), this was most definitely NOT one size. I have a 28 lb, tall son, and it was too small. I could get it on him, but it was right above his bikini line, and left no room to grow. I would definitely use this on a smaller baby!

I have six of these

and each and every one of them fits my son who is 21 pounds on the largest opening snaps. It will not fit to 35 pounds, no way! Plus several of them had loose threads in the serged area when I got them but I repaired those myself, no big deal until they shrunk so much! I also find them so thin and not as absorbent as I would hope for hemp fleece. I guess that is because there is only like two layers of hemp fleece so that does not allow for too much absorbency. Overall I am not pleased with these, the only thing I can think these would be good for is a newborn to around 12 pounds. Any baby larger then that and they would not hold much wettness. Update- I was given a full refund by the wholesale rep that sold these to me, these were defective and replacements were sent UPS but I had to refuse accepting them because UPS wanted $47 brokerage fees. I did not want to pay again for something I had already paid for. Apparently the Growing greens company were not aware of these fees. Either way I got my money back so I am happy about that but disappointed that I will never know how these truly fit because I feel I was treated unfairly by the actual company and not the wholesaler so I will not ever be giving these another chance.

: I thought I already posted a review on these here, but I guess I didn't!

I was surprised at how small they appeared... when it first arrived I knew it would shrink b/c the hemp wasn't pre-shrunk. It fit nicely before the shrinkage. I'm used to diaper tabs/wings meeting right in the middle because my skinny 28 lb toddler is, well, like I said - skinny. So these fit on the second to last setting & it made me feel like they were too small. But I decided they really aren't. I'm sure it'll last through to potty training, I don't think he's going to beef up much. I'd like to see the fit on a chunkier toddler.

The absorbency is WONDERFUL. They are great for long trips, long naps... I haven't dared try it overnight, but my light to medium wetter could probably handle it without leaking. The hemp soaks the wetness up right at the front & it doesn't spread to the back & get all soggy like most fitteds do.

It's a nice trim fit.

These are nice and soft absorbant diapes. I agree that they will probaby not fit my DS until he is 35 lbs but they fit him pretty well now and he is a chunky 20 lbs. I like them and I'll probably buy more

I have the newest version. Longer rise, bigger liner, quick dry. They really work for us. Ds's stats 25lbs with 18in waist and 9.5 legs; tall and thin with a budda belly. The new version also has the company tag (all cotton) over the snaps in the liner so no snaps touching him. The fleece topped doubler is great at night though the 2 snaps are exposed to babys skin then. Ds is a heavy wetter and the dipes hold up very well. We have not had wet clothes since. We use wool and fleece covers. I also like the trimness of this dipe and the flaps are really strechy. I always check the legs and give the front and back a tug up. I also like that they are hemp. We have used them for over a month now. I can't wait to try them on a smaller baby someday.

These are my main daytime diaper. I love hemp fleece, I love snaps, and I love quick-dry's -- so these diaps are awesome! They fit my 20 pounder on the second snap- lots of room to grow. I always use them with a doubler (either Baby Greens or Polar Babies fleece topped), so they are very absorbent. We use them coverless most of the time, and they are so trim! I have a dozen, and the elastic went out on one of them after only 2 months. That's the only problem I've had with them. I buy them from diaperware.com, but I know littlesprouts.com has deals when you buy 12, get one free! And, I've gotten a bunch off the TP here on MDC for a fair price. Over all: wonderful, versatile, durable diaper!

I have one with the sewn in soaker. I didn't know that you could get a quick dry version at the time I ordered, as I looked all over the 'net and did not see one.
I love the snap placement and overall trimness of this diaper. It didn't shrink too small for us. OURS fits very much like a Cuddle Buns, as far as snap placement and general cut goes.
The main difference is that the ruffles are very small and the leg openings are bigger. This is not so great for my skinny guy as sometimes, it would allow for bf blowouts.
If this diaper had a little bit smaller legs on the tightest setting and was the quick dry design, it would be one of our favorite diapers! (The sewn in soaker design means we have stinky hemp with ours.)

i also don't think these will fit to 35lbs. i have a chunky 26lb 9 mont old. and they barely fit. i think they have skinny babies and toddlers in mind when they sized these. they also shrunk up a lot and we are dangerously close to plumbers crack at times when he sits or leans forward. that said, like the quick dry, like the hemp. its very cute on. if they can't prewash i wish they'd plan for length wise shrinkage in the pattern.
