Becoming A Certified Midwife?

How does one go about this? I would love to look into becoming a midwife.

It depends on what state you live in. Check out www.mana.org to see your states requirements.

I would recommend going to www.midwiferytoday.com and purchasing Pathways to Becoming a Midwife. It is a great book. You may not be familiar with all of the different certifications there are, or you may be. If you'd like to know those particular details let me know. I'm going to start a midwifery program in January and so just finished answering all of these questions for myself.
