Thrush questions.

So, we have it again! Ugh, this stuff is a nightmare. : Last time we had it my DD was a newborn. Now she is 7months.

My main question is how do we get rid of it? Last time the whole sterilizing of pacifiers, bottles, and toys didn't apply since she only used my nipples. Now she chews on different toys ALL day long?! So do I just keep washing/sterilizing them every time they go in her mouth?? WOW -- How the heck do you do that? And her sippy cup? Just use different ones every time she uses it?! I asked the pedi about all the above questions and she acted as if I was from another planet! Really. Said she didn't think any of that was necessary?! And she would only give DD medicine -- none for me. O-well, my midwife gave me a script (already tried probiotics and GSE -- not working).

I just want to try and nic it in the butt as quick as possible. I know how hard it can be sometimes, so any suggestions would be great!! Thanks ladies.

Ooooh! I love his article on different colors of poop (all of them!) that one sees in babies! He's awesome!

We tried homeopathic Borax (both for babe and me) and that was what finally worked for us. We tried every medication and ended with Borax and vinegar rinse--that did the trick.

Good luck--it sucks!!
