Bella Vie Gentle Birth Center in Hopewell, Oregon (15 minutes from Salem Oregon and 15 minutes from McMinnville, Oregon) is looking for an apprentice midwife to start this July. 2 more apprentices will be needed before the end of the year. Apprenticeships are 1 year long and include attending up to 8 births per month. Prenatal days are Mondays and Wednesdays currently and possibly Fridays in the future. Apprentices will need to be able to live within 35-45 minutes of the birth center. Please PM me for more information/real life contact information/etc.

Update: the birth center is still interviewing and we are considering shared apprenticeships which would entail attending up to 4 births a month. Please spread the word. Thanks!
