I think 2nd place gets $50,000. The final four don't get anything other than their regular stipend.

Not happy this season. Did anyone see Dick on After Dark going off on Zach during the 1st HOH? They showed some but nothing like what he was really doing...and for hours. He is a vile person. That was more than strategy. That was inhuman at times.

I saw a bunch of that on After Dark. It was mean. And also hilarious. SWEETS! Your dad's a dentist and you've got teeth like that? SWEETS!

Other than the father/daughter tension early in the season, I found Dick entertaining. While you might not like him, I can appreciate that you definitely know what you're getting and where you stand. I'm glad I don't have to live with him.

What I don't understand is why Daniele wasn't dressed for a cold water competition. Isn't the first one almost always endurance with water?

Honestly, I have a soft spot in my heart for Dick and Danielle. My dad and I were estranged, and he is a bit of a rebel (loner biker guy). Dick is totally over the top compared to my dad, but there's something about him that makes me like him. I am a total softee over their relationship too. It reminds me so much of my dad and I.


I am very happy that they made it to the final 2.

But that's why I don't like him because he wants people to believe he is up front and honest and you always know where you stand but that is false. He betrayed the Jess/Eric alliance and betrayed Zach, his alliance with Nick, his alliance with Jen (ridiculous but still). So he makes it seem like he is brutal but honest but he is not...he is just as dishonest as anyone else! So that is what annoys me....don't give me this attitude like you are a bad ass and don't care and will tell everyone like it is without being shady at all when you are not like that at all.

And really I didn't care either way for him until I saw the pattern of constant "I'm the only honest one here" and then the opposite actions.....be honest or don't thats cool, Dr Will was my fav, but don't preach about being the only honest, up front one when you are by far not...the same reasons Amber and Jam annoyed me.

(bold is mine)I definately agree. It was soo hard for me to watch.. I kept forwarding and he was STILL at it, calling him all kinds of vile names. What they showed on CBS was nothing like what was on BBAD. It was HORRIBLE! and knowing that Danielle put him upto it makes me not like her at all anymore. She was laughing too and it was NOT funny. it just shows that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case. Also, The way they edited it showed that the producers are rooting for the donatos. I have to say Zach handled it so well.

The whole AP thing got them this far. If Eric was really playing his own game, Dick would have been evicted instead of Dustin.

P.S. I too cried when Danielle said she loved her dad. I was a tad annoyed when she kept pushing him though up there when it was clear he was about to collapse.

As much as I don't really like Dick or Danielle, yeah they did play the game.

I don't know if I"ll watch the finale. I can see them voting for Dick to win because he was the real player behind the 2, but otoh I can see them voting for Danielle because she wasn't as horrible as Dick was.

either way the 1 part I do want to see is where they all find out that Eric got $40,000 & was AP.

What really made me dislike Dick was the youtube videos I watched from live feeds. I thought he just went WAY over the line with the things I saw him say about Dustin's homosexuality, Jameka's religion, and Amber's past and motherhood. Unless those were not real, they were just incredibly disgusting to me. Way worse than what they showed on the episodes (though I have not watched after dark.. don't have that).

The only reason I feel ok about them being there is that the other players only have themselves to blame! They should have voted Dick out one of the many times they had a chance to. And Dani did play some great competitions so she deserves to be there as well.

It is just frustrating to watch. I am so addicted to this show! But just like last year, I would get so : when people I didn't like would win (I did not like Mike Boogie but Dr. Will I did, for some reason).

And about Jenital Warts!!!

I kinda doubt they would be interested in that. I don't know what to think of that guy, he flew under the radar then suddenly showed he COULD win stuff (physical stuff at least) but why on earth did he wait so stinkin' long? And why oh why did he not get one of them out when he had the chance instead of Eric?

And why why why am I still obsessing over this show? The final two are decided and that is that.

Looking forward to the twist reveal though.

I don't know-I think Danielle and Zach would be friends, especially if Zach & Nick remain friends and Danielle & Nick develop something.

Zach always said his "strategy" was to not show his strength until he needed to...which unfortunately was WAY too late. Then, he rode coat tails to get him to where he wanted to be. He was smart in making agreements, not alliances in the end.

I'm DYING to see the big reveal of Eric!!! I think that Amber will be PO'd...simply because she wasn't chosen. I think Dick is going to love it. He will probably be the most receptive.

I'm glad I don't have to watch tonight, and can watch the Emmys...though I'll probably channel surf over during commercials. Tuesday will be tough-I like watching Biggest Loser, and they are head to head.

What's happening in the house

Well, Dick is having a hard time thinking about who will win. He's crying because he doesn't want to win against Dani. It wouldn't be as sweet since if he wins it's against his child and not someone else.

Dani (from what I can tell)is upset because now with time to think, she's remembering things people have said to her and it's making her sad. Also thinks that everyone will say that she is just playing this in her fathers shadow, how that will be held against her and that everyone in the jury house will base their decisions on peoples personal lives/relations and not how the game was played.

ok - first - i havent read this whole thread!! so forgive me if i mention something you all already talked about...

1) my dislike of Dani: She is whiny and very 2-faced. Ex - when she (and ED) break an allience, it's game - when it's happening to them - it's personal. Her cocky, know-it-all, better then you attitude. I mean the whiny she does bothers me as much as all the crying Amber did. And that "laugh in your face" thing - just shows how much of a snot she can be. I think the Dani we've seen the last couple of weeks is more true to form then the "nice" one i originally like before Nick left. You can only hide your true self for so long

2) ED - i dont even know where to go with this one.... personally i think CBS should have pulled him outta the house/off air since the dumping tea over jen's head. Sure - she might have had something coming - but Dick crossed from verbal to physical attacks with her when he did that... and it was totally uncalled for.

3) Jesric - lol - or whatever they are being called online - i forgot! I seriously hope that Eric's AP reveal doesnt totally shut her off to him - i think they make a cute couple!! I hated her voice the first weeks of the show - but she's grown on me

They are more like characters playing a part, and they are from LA I beleive. She looks like a model/actress type and he looks like an entertainer as well.

And he kind of over-did it last night...I mean on public TV talking about how much he couldn't stand his daughter. She is still very young...I mean what could she have done to make him that mad and say such mean things? Not talk to him? A bit too unrealistic.

they are playing it up. They did have some sort of fight about 18m - 2 yrs ago - but were still in contact - they even auditioned together (maybe they thought they could be secert partners like in season 6?). Did you see the look on Dani's face thursday after Dick was going off on how all those secert partners couldnt do it, but they did?

Dick seriously crossed a line. I just watched some clips on youtube. OMG. My respect for BB has gone way down. They should have pulled him out a long time ago but he makes "good" tv. : And now he possibly WINS. :

exactually... i don't think CBS out right rigged the show/game - but i do think they had a hand in helping it go the way they wanted (though some video editing - KWIM?)
