Well, I DO chart, but don't know what they look like on a chart. What I can tell you is that I've had LOTS of cysts in my life, and they STINK. I had one the size of a small grapefruit removed from my right ovary, for instance. A week after they were prepping me for surgery to remove my appendix because that's the kind of pain that was presenting...at the last minute they get the CT scan back (I think it was a CT, it was a while ago) that they'd taken JUST to be sure, and found a cyst instead. ANYWAY.
I saw LOTS of doctors for the pain they cause, and in the end found the answer myself, and with the help of one of the doctors who worked on the study that I used as my impetus, I completely eradicated them from my life.
How has your diet been? Because, what I found in this study is that cysts tend to happen significantly more in women who are not eating quite right...most of the time they are borderline hypoglycemic or flat out hypoglycemic (that's me) and either don't know it or aren't treating it with an extremely balanced and "perfectly spaced" diet. I'm talking about a good balance of complex carbs and protein (for me, when I'm not preggo or breastfeeding it's 6-10 g of protein and 35-45 g of complex carbs per meal and I eat a small meal every 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on my activity level--pregnant is really hard to gauge, basically I eat small meals constantly, and nursing I just usually use the upper end of the range and do quite well).
I know it doesn't help you much right now, but perhaps if this is a common thing for you (I got them allllllll the time), or BECOMES a common thing for you, then you can try that out to keep them at bay.
On the other hand, are you thinking ectopic rather than cysts? Is that why you're so tense? I have also had an ectopic. It IS scary, but knowing your body and having medical care who TRUSTS that you know your body is a REALLY good thing in this case.
Take care, and I'm eager to know what happens at the office visit...
