x-post need ideas for decorating 3yo bedroom (transporation theme)

DS has decided he wants his bedroom (where he doesn't sleep ) redone in cars, trucks, airplanes,etc. any ideas for some cute things I can make or decorate with on the cheap?

I made some fish shaped draw knobs from plywood. Just cut out the shape you want with a jigsaw then glue a small square (maybe 2cm square) in the back for the screw to fasten into.

Maybe a border with a road and cars and trucks on it. Hmm you could even have a longish strip of grey felt for your road and cut our some felt vehicles, that way your little one could move them around.

Not sure where you are but I think this is quite cool

You could use a toy truck as a paint tool and dip the tires in paint and maybe write his name and hang it up.

Find a small table at a garage sale and cover it with green fabric and set up train tracks or roads for your own train table.

Sew a simple car shaped pillow.

Just a thought

You could always paint road signs..stop yeild etc pretty easy straigt lines incase you have a hard time painting...also you can do a stop light...one thing that my friend did was go to a craft store and get an overhead projector for under $30 and she could use coloring book pages...just a thought.
