My vacation was going to start on one day, but since my nephew is going to be born the next day, I get to leave that day instead.
Ah well, at least we'd already considered renting a car for me. I had just hoped to be able to meet up with other people to split the gas costs and 7 hours of driving.
I'd like to point out that if things were happening according to the baby's schedule no one would have gotten upset at me not being available to see him for 10 days.
I really hope this doesn't mean that the family are intending to hold off on all trips when I'm pregnant and it's close to whatever due date I tell them. If so, we're moving cross country ASAP.
