If one more person tells me I need a repeat c-section I'm going to lose it.

Yes, I had a c-section with ds, and yes I am a couple of days shy of 42 weeks, but why do people insist on putting that fear in my head? I'm planning a hbac and at this point I don't really need the negativity.

I get that well meaning strangers tell me to walk, run, go up and down stairs, take castor oil, etc. But, what I don't get is people who are close to me telling me that I need a c-section. How do they know what I *need*?

Vent over.

I'm not in your DDC but I just wanted to send you some good thoughts and encouragement. I VBACed my son at 42 weeks, he was 9lbs 3oz and perfect. Don't give up, pm me if you have any questions...

you know your body and baby, trust yourself to do what is right!

Hang in there...this little one will get the ball rolling soon!

My obs told me not to think of my birth as a vbac, but just to think of it as a birth. I wish more people thought like that! Just ignore those voices the best you can, stay positive, and happy birthing!

Tell them to kiss your a$$ I have a friend (MDC mama) who had a successfull VBAC at 42 weeks with her second. You can do it too!

You can do it! I haven't updated yet but I VBACed last Tuesday after 50 hours of labor, 46 of that with ruptured membranes. I know the pressure you are feeling. Trust your body and your baby.

I too just had a hbac ( at 41 weeks to the hour!), let those negative voices fall by the wayside, tune into yourself and trust your instincts, only fill yourself with positive vibes. We have faith in you!
