This show is hilarious! Has anyone else watched it? It only has one episode so far (the second episode is on tonight). Nick and I could not stop laughing!

It is on HBO Sunday at 10:30pm.

DH and I loved it! Very funny, creative idea for a show. The song lyrics are brilliantly bad, and the writing is hilarious. "Well, more of a love square, really, since there were four of them."

I love it! I find Jemaine strangely sexy. And the songs are hysterical...and the deadpan delivery just kills me!

omg, isn't on demand the greatest? their stand-up special is on there, too.

i love that one song where he says, "talkin' bout the issues but we're keepin' it funky."

Just saw this on demand too and I LOLed more than once!

I think my favorite part was during the robot song where it went "the humans are dead!" "affirmative - I poked one it was dead." The delivery made it.

Unfortunately we're getting rid of cable this week, so I guess I'll just have to Netflix the rest of it when it comes out. ;(

Yes, yes. All of the above! Glad to see there is a thread started for FOTC! It's my new favorite!

Oh, and don't you just love Bret's weird 1980's animal screenprint sweatshirts?! And Murray and Mel and Dave. Dave! He's a funny dude. "Flip 'em the bird."

Oh, and I have to add: Best Song Ever was 'Business Time'!

then you go to sort out the recycling....thats not part of it, but its still very important

Okay, now I am re-watching them all on You Tube and 'Part-time Model' is pretty hilarious too. And 'If You're Into It".

Anyone know where I can find the lyrics online?

I found this show on Demand as well. I love it! "It's business time" really cracked me up. So did "part time model".

I love the innocence of the two, and I think Jermaine is sexy too. Although I think about it too much, b/c I once I started I thought based on his character he might be really clumsy in bed. IRL I bet better...

My dh used to dress like Bret, in the 90s. We were laughing as he made a comment about how he liked that tiger sweatshirt. He would still dress like that if I let him.

One of the comments that cracked me up was when they had a band meeting and talked about gigs -they suggested to Murray that they play at night since that is when most bands play. And Murray gave them that reflective belt to be safe in NYC since it is so dangerous. And then got mugged....

This whole show is just too funny.

That show is HILARIOUS!

I've only watched two episodes at a friend's house and am seriously considering ponying up for HBO just to watch it.

OMFG! : This show makes me laugh sooooo hard! I missed a couple episodes. Where can you get the whole thing? I've already seen clips on HBO.com of the ones I've missed ahhh!

I caught up on youtube! I think it was episodes 2 and 4 that I had missed. But no more! yeah!! What did we do before youtube? Before the internet?

I forgot to mention last night's episode. It was so funny! I am so gad I was able to stay awake when I go home from work. I was so tired yet was able to still be laughing my ass off by the first song. Priceless.

I am two episodes behind, life is so crazy I can't set aside an hour. Gosh. But I do LOVE the duo . . . and Murrey is pretty cool too.

Anyone else missing Mel lately? She hasn't had many scenes at all compared to earlier episodes in the season. I loved the scene where she was at the Fan Club meeting with Murray (literally "fan," as in singular ) and he told her about Bret's girlfriend. "Is she stupid?" Her timing was so spot-on!

And:

Talking to Jemaine after he got out of jail after being mugged:

"Did they strip search you?" (Mel)

Jemaine: "No, they didn't"

Mel: (look of extreme lust on her face, as if imagining the strip search) "Did they find anything"

Jemaine: "I said they didn't strip search me."
