CERAMICISTS? Tile Repair Question.

I hope I spelled that right. I have a question that has absolutely nothing to do with children. I live in an older 1930's home. My home has that thick ceramic tile in the bathroom - you know usually it is mint green with a black stripe, or pink with black. Mine is a salmon color with the black trim.

There are several screw holes in a few of the tiles and removing them is impossible. I am thinking of filling the holes with some sort of ceramic clay patch, and trying to mix an enamel paint to smooth and blend as well as possible.

anyone know if I can buy a small bag of ceramic "stuff" to stick in the little holes? Can I do that without heat/kiln etc?

any creative ideas??
TIA!

I dont think the patch would necissiarily need to be ceramic. Have you tried just normal wall putty? And maybe nail polish for color matching?

You could just use grout. If that's not an option for some reason I think that I would try an epoxy in a bathroom although it may be difficult to get a paint to stick to if you want to cover the hole. I've worked with high tech ceramic epoxies, the no heat stuff and I've found it to be rather porous so I wouldn't go that route.
