Will I become a Boat Owners Widow?

We bought a used boat last week. My husband has spent every waking minute working on it.

Will it end when he gets it fixed up? :

I hope after all the work he is putting into it will be worth what family enjoyment we get out of it. :

We have a small sailboat(but it's big enough for the 4 of us to camp on! ), and the first year we had it, it seemed like there was always something to spend $ on. Luckily, that has slowed down a lot. Now we just need to be able to afford a car that can pull it. : I don't think my Toyota Echo will do the trick for that!

A Sail boat sounds sooo relaxing!

Ours is a motor boat with a 18 horse motor. It is supposed to be a fishing boat but will also be big enough to take the 4 of us for boat rides

We just sold our boat this spring it was a '68 correct craft with an inboard motor.. an awesome old boat but just not meant for family outings..(I called it the frying pan). We sold it with the idea that we would buy a used sailboat that we could camp on (it it geat fun, ainsleyx???).. but so many things have come up since then that the boat thing unfortunatly won't be happening for a while... but guess what? Dh still spends much of his time perusing websites and want ads for used boats: .. So I guess the real thing would be much more fun....

We do still have our canoe, though.. which is my favorite boat

Yes, sailing is incredibly fun and relaxing. I like having a hobby that we all enjoy.

Year 1: Every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day
Year 2: Every other weekend
Year 3: The majors, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day
Year 4: Memorial Day
Year 5: Aw honey, I think I'll mow the yard
Year 6: Boat for sale
