California school/work exemptions??

Hey there, Im asking this on behalf of an old friend of mine whos going to school for... medicine or something. Anyways, they won't let her do an internship or something because she never had the MMR vaccine... and so she's mad at her mom (whom Im staying with..), because she never got it for her...

I was under the imppressio that excemptions work for EVERYTHING - work, school, nursing homes, etc... is this untrue? Are there places that can truely force you to get the vaccines or not let you participate/work there??

If there are exemptions even in the military, I can not see why they wouldn't allow her to attend school/work.

Just my two cents since I am just starting to research vax. Hopefully someone will chime in with something solid.

If she tells them it's against her religion they have to leave her alone about it. California is really great that way. We have philisophical and relgious exemptions. My MIL is a retired RN (medical retirement) and she had no problem refusing vaxes.

If she's not anti-vax why doesn't she just get the shot?
