On Friday, June 22 at 1:43 I had my little one- he was born at home in the birthing tub with dh supporting me, both physically and emotionally and with the help of my 2 amazing midwives. He was 9 lbs and 21"! My first dd was just 6lbs 12 oz, so I was AMAZED at how big he was, and so was everyone else. We named him Ian Richard.

We've had computer issues, but hopefully I'll get to post a full birth story soon.

(my previous post seem to never make it)

Congratulations!

We're expecting a baby Ian too, Ian Wallace. In fact, I had considered Ian Richard (Richard is a family name). It looks like he might be a 9lb'er (or close) as well. I'm small so I worry about getting out such a big baby. Hopefully he's long. Glad you had a good birthing experience.
