Spotlight thread question

Hello ladies!

Well, I have to ask. I do know a lot of us are dealing with prodromal issues, possibly newborns, and the hot, hot heat. However, are we still going to keep doing this? I feel kinda bad that it's petered out. Does anyone have any questions about how it is run? I want to start new threads for bbrandonsmom and Jen H. but I feel like I might just be irritating people. I also feel badly that Mel L. still hasn't gotten her thread, and Bella's already here!

Soooo... do we keep this going? Do we quietly stop?

I feel bad because I stopped asking questions.. I ran out of ideas I think somewhere around the 4th person or so. I just want to apologise and say it's not that I like anybody less or more and I was in no way intending to hurt anybody's feelings just couldn't come up with anything new. I love you all!

Oh.. and to answer your question Clara, I don't know.

Personally I think it was a nice way to pass the time and get to know some people, but now that we are all gearing up for birth and all the stuff to talk about that goes with it, we probably don't need the filler converations anymore...

I never responded to any of them. Spotlight threads and such tend to make me cringe, because I'm afraid someone will get left out and have their feelings hurt. I generally don't think they're a great idea and can cause more harm than good...but that's just my humble opinion.

We all signed up for them though so all that wanted to participate could and those that weren't interested didn't have to. Unless of course you mean by someone having their baby before their name came up or something.

Oooh, I didn't know there was a sign-up. My bad! Carry on then.

I like reading other people's, but I won't be crushed if we don't do mine. Maybe we could just use the list of "stock" questions from the previous ones. I always ask the same questions of everyone anyway.

I totally agree that stock questions are well worth it!

Ok- quick run down of how we were doing this- A person has a spotlight thread. About two days later, that person needs to start a spotlight thread for the next person down. If anyone wants to be removed from the list, let me know and I'll do it! Otherwise, the last spot-lit person can go ahead and start a new one for the next person on the list (I've been "greying" the already lit persons out) or if not I'll do it tomorrow. Sound good?
