It'll come with a steep price tag - $69K USD. But hey, it'll still be cheaper than a house. Even DH is lusting after this thing.

I wonder how Volkswagen is going to feel about that desgin.

Weird, I was sure I saw something on the original site about how it was a VW, but can't find it now. Perhaps I was hallucinating. I love the original, as well. If I could find one, I would make it mine.

We really really want one of these. DH brought it up again this morning and said "Man, if we didn't have kids, I'd totally live in that thing." I said "It seats and sleeps 4....", and he said "Ok, I don't care what we need to do in order to afford it...that WILL be our next vehicle." Ah....a girl can dream! I think it's the wood panelling look that does it for him. We're totally lusting over this thing.

I wouldn't live in it, but if it sat 7 like our eurovan i would by one in a heartbeat. That sucks that it would only seat 4. But its just a prototype right now anyway.

Was that an electric range in there? I didn't see where that round table was stored., I guess with the chairs? It looks awesome anyway. Whether it's livable is another story.

I'm interested to see what a real one looks like. It's easy to make a computer CGI image fold in and out with ease, MUCH harder with the real thing. Like for example, I assume that back bench seat comes with seatbelts. Where do they go when you want to sleep on it? etc

I take it the white sides of that top part must be cloth that rolls up?
