condoms and intact versus circed

How do men find the difference between using a condom and not using one
if they are

(A) Intact
(B) Circed
(C) Restored

?

I have a hunch that the difference between degree of feeling is far greater
for circed men than intact men.

One consequence could be that circed men are less inclined to use condoms when having multiple partners.

What are people's experience?

i think the reduction in sensation is of the same degree for intact and for circumcised men. lets say you look at it like a number scale, imagine going from a sensation level of 10 down to 6 (intact) versus going from level 4 down to level 0, maybe .1 (circumcised). Its not so much that there is a greater difference in feeling its that the intact guy can probably still feel somthing down there.

I would point out as well that the TYPE of condom also makes a HUGE difference. My experience is with circ'd.

I know that when DH would use a regular latex condom (which is what we tried first) honestly, he felt pretty much nothing. He couldn't let's put it this way..."finish" using a regular latex condom. In fact, he would purposely use them so that he had so little feeling that I could go for as long as I wanted.

Then, the "thin" latex condoms. An improvement, doesn't feel much, but he can finish.

Polyeurethane condoms, DEFINITELY so much better than latex. What we use now. Very close to "normal".

Lambskin condoms. He says with these he could sometimes forget there was anything there. BUT, they are very expensive and we don't use them anymore as the polyeurethane are just about as good (and I bought a LOT of them).

Anyhow...interesting to note that LATEX was the WORST. He has no interest in wearing those ever again. Mainly as he can't feel practically anything when they're used!

My dh is circ'd, and does use condoms when we need to. He says that he does notice a lessening of sensations and prefers not to use them when there is an alternative, but its not that big of a deal.

Condoms desensitize period.

DH is intact and he doesn't like to use condoms. It makes perfect sense to me: intact men are not used to the glans being desensitized by anything. If there was a difference I would have thought that it didn't matter so much to a circ'd man, because there is no gliding anyway and the glans is already desesitized. how much worse could it get by using a condom? But on the other hand i can understand that circ'd men needs every bit of feeling they have left...

I had a tightly circed partner who said he could slam it in a car door with one on and probably not even notice. He could finish but it took a fairly long amount of time.

I had a loosely circed partner say that they were bleh but not the end of the world. He could finish and it took an average amount of time.

I had an intact partner say he only loses about 15% sensation. He could finish and it took an average amount of time.

This was all with the exact same brand/variety of condoms.

I only know with intact...

My DH hates condoms, but truthfully we never tried anything other than latex before moving on to other methods. He could always finish though...just didn't enjoy it as much. I've never seen one break or slip off though...I think they stay on intact guys really well.

Where do you get polyeurethane condoms? I've never even heard of them, but we'll be looking for a good non-hormonal birth control method once the baby comes....

ive seen them at just about every drugstore for the last 5 years. I think they were originaly made for people who are allergic to latex. Ive also read that they transfer heat better than latex condoms which contributes to them feeling better than latex for many people.
