What about us 37 weekers?

Saw the thread for mamas at 36 and 38 weeks - so I thought I would get one started for us mamas in between at 37 weeks.
I was 37 weeks yesterday - and that is when my DD arrived 2 years ago - on the day I was 37 weeks - so today I am officially more pregnant than I have ever been...
My upper back has been really achy and my feet and heels are killing me...
This morning I pooped twice (very unusual for me) and though it wasn't diarrhea - it was definitely softer than my usual (sorry TMI)... so I am thinking this is the first sign of my body getting ready... I am trying to hold out until July 1st as that is the first day my mom could get here - but I don't know if this baby will cooperate...
I have been noticing my braxton hicks contractions more too - but not sure if that is because I am paying attention more...
Also, we are expecting thunderstorms for the next few days here - so I am not sure how that will influence things too...
How are all you other 37 week mamas feeling?

I'll hop onboard! I was 37 weeks on Saturday, so I'm sort of smack in the middle of 37 and 38 now. Same deal as Chelsea (we don't live too far apart from each other though!)- thunderstorms and the blue moon on the 30th have me thinking...

Lots of cxs, lots of "juiciness", and pooping every time I eat something (which lately has been somewhat of an afterthought- not hungry, nothing looks/ tastes good). Oop, here comes another contraction...

I was 37 wks on Sunday but I'm telling everyone I have 2 weeks to go. I really hope baby will decide to come early-- I've given him the green light for this weekend -- hoping that the full moon will start something! But DS1 went to 40 wks 2 days, so I have no reason really to think DS2 will be early. I'm just so uncomfortable a lot of the time when baby is pushing soooo hard, down so low. I didn't even know there were nerves in there, but something internal sure is hurting!

I'm 37 1/2 weeks. I wish I could say I think labor is close. . . but I think I have a few weeks. My first was way over due. I am having more BH contractions than I remember having with my girl, and we are trying to sell our house so I'm enjoying being in nesting mode. Doing the obsessive TP check for mucus. I'm thinking about going out and buying a pineapple and juicing the whole thing and guzzling it down. I would love to have this one a little early. With my first I didn't expect her early and wasn't surprised when the due date came and went. This one- I'm ready for him. We'll I'm not. . . my birthkit isn't organized and I have a lot of little things I want to get in order. . . but I would find a way to get them all in order real quick if I thought labor was really starting!

I was 37 weeks on monday. I went overdue with my dd and needed to be induced from nothing, so I'm just hoping not to go that long this time. I've been having lots of BH and achiness and such, so hopefully my body's gearing up for an earlier labor, but my mother went 42 weeks w/her first baby (me) and 44 weeks w/her second, so I've been starting EPO and RRL tea to get things going (hopefully) so I can have my homebirth.

i am almost out of 37 weeks, but i will join for the next day or two. i will be 38 weeks on friday. i have been having the looser bowel movements and not hungry thing for about a week now. i am not enjoying it. i always know when i am getting a contraction because it makes me feel so nauseous. i really do not enjoy that feeling. i had back labor with my son and i think i would rather that than a terrible sick to my stomach feeling every contraction. ughh. i hope i go soon too. my water broke with my son at 38w5d, so i am hopeful this one will come sooner rather than later, but you never know.

37.5 weeks here. I'm having some BH ctx but that's it. Nothing to write home about. I think I have several more weeks yet, but everything is good and ready in the house and for birthing at home.

Hello there... I can join this club, too! (although I rarely write, as my DS1 is super not into the computer these days, and I am trying to be sensitive to that!). I can also join in about the looser stools, which have happened for a week now. Lots os BH, some crampier low, enough to wake me up at night (which I admit, does not take much these days!). I am feeling really good otherwise... still seeing the chiro, which has made a monumental difference in tailbone pain this time around. I also don't have much interest in food. I have been drinking a lot of chocolate whey protein milk, and that helps a lot. Oh, and we are just 37 weeks today. Yipee! Eli was only 1 day early, although his labor lasted 76 hours (transverse breech). I am quite confident we won't be going down that long path again! So, I still have some things to do, and don't feel like I am jumping out of my skin... We arejhaving family come from 4 hours away, so I kind of hope labor isn't too fast! Oh, and we are finally due for some thunderstorms, too, in the next couple of days. Good vibes to all of you mamas!

I too was 37 weeks on Monday. I'm feeling good- big, slow, sleepy and relaxed. The last few nights have been different- really sleeping hard (still waking up to pee 4 or 5 times) and taking naps during the day. Steadily pecking away at the list, trying to get ready. Not very hungry anymore. Tons of BH and some very low crampiness. I don't think I'll go to 40 weeks but we don't have too much longer to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl and what it will be named!

Hi. I have not posted to the DDC yet, but was lurking a little bit. I am 37 weeks now, and really need the support of other people to get me through. I am just so DONE with being pregnant! It is reassuring to read that other people are feeling the same way. I know we should be patient with our babies (they know when they are ready), but it's hard. It is wonderful that you are all so supportive of each other. I wish I had found this DDC from the beginning.

Me too. I haven't been around do much lately. I'm 37.5wks, start 38 on Monday. At my checkup on Tues I had my mw do an internal even though it was optional because I've had so much pinching feeling on my cervix I wanted to make sure everything was ok. I'm already 3cm wich I was at 40wks with ds. So it's going to be fun to see how far I dilate by the time actual labor starts. Maybe we'll get to 5 and be at least half way there
Though isn't already considered labor when your body is dilating? I don't feel anything except that pinching wich is annoying, though last night I just could not get comfortable and kept having sporadic contractions. Unless they were much much stronger bh's? And my whole crotch area felt sore any time I sat down. I keep wondering about the full moon tomorrow, but I think it's still a little early for us.
We're trying to finish things up. I got all the baby stuff washed and need to install the carseat base yet. Tues I'll pick up my wool wash and nb prefolds. This week I've also gotten ultra nesting instincts picking up. I refolded all my towels and sheet sets the other day. They were fine the way they had been.
