Ouch

Thread Starter
I went to get lunch a bit ago and was getting a sodas out of the pantry to put in the fridge. When I did that I knocked another one over and it popped a small leak and started spraying everywhere.

I had three soda cans cradled in one arm and grabbed the spraying one and ran (RAN! What was I thinking??) across the kitchen to put it in the sink. Of course I slipped in the wetness from the spraying can (all the sodas went flying, but none of those exploded at least) and I fell - quite hard. Ouch ouch ouch.

I'm a little worried (immediately started praying that jolt wasn't enough to in anyway detach any part of placenta), but I think all is okay - mostly I just gave myself a big fright. And I realized how unwieldly and vulnerable to injury I am right now.

My pubic bone seriously hurts, though. I think, at the least, I just stupidly knocked myself into SPD land. :

We have a family friend who tripped on a sidewalk and fell on her 9-month-pg belly. She and the baby were just fine! Our bodies are well designed for a reason! Just take care of yourself today.

Yikes! I'm sorry, mama! I hope you're not too sore later on.

I *almost* fell in the kitchen here at work today -- a lady had been mopping and forgot to put up the "wet floor" sign. I caught myself about 5 inches above the floor, though.

Wet feet & tile floor almost did me in yesterday. I'm sure you'll be fine, just take it easy.
