OMG I am officially the fattest belly here. I can't only be 20 weeks, this is ridiculous. Wouldn't someone KNOW if there was twins? Wouldn't it FEEL different, or just huge? I'm huge. I've been measuring wrong. At 12 weeks I measured 13, at 14 I measured 16, and 18 I measured 21 and now, at 20 I am measuring 25

12-13 (1 wk ahead)
2 wks lapse
14-16 (2 wks ahead)
4 wks lapse
18-21 (3 wks ahead)
2 wks lapse
20-25 (5 wks ahead)

What's with this progression, At this rate I'll have a uterus taller than my head by the time the baby is due (Dec 11)

I know Down's syndrome and polyhydramnios go together. maybe I'm having a Down's baby?

What else can cause gigantically growing bellies like this?

NEVERMIND because ofoto is down and I can't send the picture. I will try again tomorrow. I should go find some twim moms and some down's moms and interview them about this. I'm so confused.

I had no clue I was having twins until they did an u/s. It was definitely a surprise. You should have a u/s because if it is twins you need to be sure they don't share the placenta. Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome is a scary thing.

Here's my pics, finally able to upload. I have only gained a pound, though- I was flat tummied before, with I'm sure a teeny bit of stomach muscles, being that I get exercise swimming, doing Yoga and dancing silly with my girls almost every day. My butt and thighs have totally shrunk- those shorts are a size 2, low rise Bongo with just enough stretch in the waistband that I can shimmy them down onto my hips a little.
