.... and I am too LOL
We had a great labour with him. I went in on Wednesday after getting a call from my OB that L&D was slow and if I wanted to come in for my induction I could. We decided that b/c of the blood pressure issues and other things that we would like to go in and get it done.
I went in at 7:30pm and I was already 3-4cm, so we broke my water at 8:00pm after half an hour of having a NST to get a baseline. I walked around for a couple of houra and was having contractions every 1 1/2-3 minutes lasting only around 20 seconds. At 10:00pm I got my IV and some oxytocin to pick things up. I was able to keep up with it for a bit and just couldn't handle the pain (my anxiety kicked in) and asked for an epidural.
My nurse turned off the oxytocin until I got my epideral at just after midnight and was only 5cm dilated. Witin 10 minutes of it kicking in, I went from 5-10cm and was ready to push. I could still feel the contractions but could breathe through them. Then I felt so much pressure in my bottom and knew I would be pushing soon.
I pushed for 10 minutes on my side with my foot on the OB's shoulder, what a site that must have been. He came out pretty fast and we're thrilled to have him here.
Aizen Jaymz was born at 12:39 am on Thursday, June the 28th. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces, 19 inches long. And gosh he sure is cute!!
Aizen couple minutes old (this is so cute b/c at our 35 week appointment he had his hand on his cheek just like this picture!!)

He's a very happy and cuddly baby. Breastfeeding is proving to be a challenge so I am going to pump and bottle feed. My hands are just killing me and we are having latching problems. His coming home weight was 6 pounds 12 1/2 ounces.
It's so good to finally have him here and home. He's just too cute and I am so blessed to have him in our lives.
Thank you all SOOOOO much for your thoughts and prayers through this very troubling time.
Blessings,
Denise

He's as sweet as can be. I'm glad your labor went well too.
