About donor breastmilk and milk banks. The author seems very, very pro-nursing, which in comparison to some of the nurses and peds Ive met, is fantastic!!

That's an interesting article. I especially liked the part that states, "According to the American Medical Association, parents must be able to choose whether to feed their infants formula or breast milk. If a mother signs a consent for her child to be fed formula without being told breast milk is available, there was no informed consent, Morrow says."

There is banked milk available here in Madison, but the hospitals refuse to offer it as an option to NICU parents. In my opinion, these familes are being wronged.
