I am ..totally a POAS addict ... I have taken 6 pregnancy tests so far this time and they are all positive of course .. I am a little nervous till that first u/s though as I have m/c before .. i may call my midwife monday and see if i can do a hcg test though to ease my mind

I totally am! I've taken two tests already, and have five more (one digital) ready and waiting for the next few days. I've had one chemical, so like you I'll be nervous until I see the bean and know everything is ok.

Me!! I took my first test yesterday at 14dpo (I managed to refrain until then, since we had been TTC for several months, and I couldn't handle seeing more negative tests). Yesterday i took the first test this cycle, it was positive and AF didn't show. Took another test today and it was much DARKER! YAY!!

I use those internet cheapies...so I am sure I will take a few more over the next week or so. When I was first pregnant with my 2nd daughter, I kept taking tests until I got a nice dark line which showed up immediately. I will try to restrain myself this time...so I coudl maybe pass them onto someone else.

Actually, no I'm totally tempted to go to the Dollar Store and buy a cheapie test to see a darker line ,but I'm compacting so trying not to buy anything new.

With DD, I think I used an EPT. It was positive and stayed positive. I threw it out when she was 18 months old and we were moving.

I took a Fact Plus last week and it was positive...but then it faded and disappeared! : How is that reassuring to a newly pregnant woman????

However, I have morning sickness, sore boobs and a hemrroid...I think I'm pregnant.

I cheated , I took a test today and it was a dollar tree test. My husband and I both saw the pink line...then about 20 minutes later it disappeared...we don't know what to think...I also took about a 2 hr nap for no reason (out of my character). Dh is like "yep, you're pregnant"... I'm only about 8dpo

I big-time am. I've been having ongoing dull cramping that could just be abdominal, but with my daughter, we had a HUGE miscarriage scare. The ER doctor told me I'd be m/cing at any time and it was only when I went in for a follow-up that we realized that everything was okay, her heartbeat was great and it was just spotting. But I don't take anything for granted anymore.

I bouoght 5 one dolllar tests and used them all.....

Kinda lurking, kinda joining ... hi all ... anyway, don't all the tests include the admonition that the results can't be trusted after 20 minutes? Like, lines fade or appear willy-nilly after a little while?

Lol, rabrog, at keeping your ept until your daughter was 18mos ...

I have seven positive tests right here in a box in my drawer! I threw the 4 negatives (testing, like, 2 DPO!) away.

Hello, I am not in your DDC, but I saw your discussion and had to comment. I was very regular, always starting AF on the 13th of every month. My dh was only home for 17 days between recruit training and MOS training. I dropped him off at the airport on Feb. 6th, our estimated conception date is the 5th. We cut it pretty close! I was 11 days late for AF before I got a pos test. I took one everyday before that (the $1 DG type) and still nothing. I am not the praying type, but on day 10 I prayed to God and said "Either give me my period or a positive test, please." I am a MAJOR worrier!!! On day 11 I bought a First Response and it came up pos. I took another DG test to see if it would detct my levels and it still did not work. After I was 18 weeks I thought it would be funny to take another Dollar General test to see if it has caught up yet. Apparently it has!! It's about time. I do reccomend the First Response tests though.

I know what you mean. My last pregnancy I was almost a week late and I took a dollar tree test and it was barely there. It was soooo faint! So I went out, got a FRER and the line was nice and clear
