Tie Dying Help

Ok, it's been a looooong time since I did any tie dying. We want to give it a try.

1) How do we keep the colors from touching too much?
2) How do we get the "swirl" in the middle?

the colors will touch and blend some, just make sure that you put colors adjacent to each other that are going to make a nice shade together...for example red and blue touching=probably a bit of purple in the middle (pretty)...red and green=muddy brown (icky).
