Circumcison and CBE classes HELP

I just recieved myy No-Circ DVD!! I'd like to present parts of it in my next class (tomorrow night). One half of one couple already wants to circ.

Has anyone done this and what were the reactions?

I want to make their baby really real for them by going through the immediate afterbirth care and maybe exam first. what is normal etc.

I don't show a circ video, but I do explain the procedure and also let them know that most insurance companies aren't covering circ anymore (they consider it elective cosmetic surgery) and I tell them the stats and supporting research that circ does NOT reduce STI/STD/HIV rates.
Good luck.

I show a circ video sometimes, other times not. I kind of feel out the classes. I've had one couple tell me they didn't circ specifically because of the video. I'm very up front about the fact that I'm opposed to RIC (honestly, I'm opposed to religious circ too but I do NOT discuss religious circ at all), and why.

(Not a CBE) I have an opinion and I'm sure that it comes across strongly , but what about a guest speaker? Someone to come in for 5 minutes to explain their regret & sorrow for having done it?

I think if you present it as for informational purposes and just so that everyone is aware of what the procedure entails - it will be ok. At least those that choose to do it will have the real side of it and it wont just be some 'procedure' that is done and then the baby is brought back to them. Just present it as it is - and make sure that it doesn't turn into a debate or lecture afterwards.
