just to get out of the house, and because id never been to the mall here. it was not a good day to go to the mall, lol. i wasnt planning on spending much money, just lunch, but everything was on sale it seemed like, lol... i got some cute cbaby clothes at jc penney, they had an extra 20% off of clearance, and childrens place was an extra 30% off of the clearance stuff....

i was good, didnt buy too much- im trying to hold off on clothes til after my shower, because everyone gives clothes, but i couldnt resist

Wait a sec, hold the phone! JCP has a sale? : Children's Place, too?!?! I LOVE that store.

Just get the clothes in bigger sizes, like 9-12 months and 12-18 months. We got one outfit in 6-9 months at our baby shower, the rest was smaller.

everywhere was on sale- baby gap was an extra 25% off clearance, sears had one too, i hit macy's and dillards, but dillards was still too expensive for me, lol (im not paying $15 for a onsie thats already been marked down to 1/2 price) and i think macy's had one too....

even lane bryant was giving extra off of their clearance, but i didnt see anything i liked, and a bunch of other stores

yeah, it seems like everyone is starting to get rid of their summer stuff, so baby will have a decent wardrobe come next summer, lol

Girls are easy to shop for in advance, you buy a dress, if it is too short, you pop a pair of shorts underneath and it's ok.

Urgh, I know, all the sales right now but everywhere I look there's only summer outfits. I'm in friggin NH and it gets cold here. AAAARGH!!

I'm such a terrible Penney's fan. But, they tend to do a huge 50% off sale right around Labor Day...

I have been buying up clearance summer clothes for next summer! A lot of fall/winter stuff is on sale too here. Sales are so fun, you get cute things for very little! I still haven't found a "take home" outfit for him yet. Have any of you gotten one, where??

sucks that its only summer stuff. I just realized that DD (2 yrs old) has almost no warm clothes. (we've had so many hand me downs before now that its never been an issue for her to have clothes...she always had too many) Guess I should get back to knitting her longies!

nice spam bump there.....

I didnt even know this was an old thread til pumpkin posted about 4th of july sales... lmao.

the problem w/ buying stuff for next year is what if baby isn't in the months he's "suposed" to be?

Yeah I was like labor day sales?

lol.... we were at walmart the day after i got home from the hospital we've been out almost every day, even if it was just for a few minutes. and ive had some issues with my incision draining (not from doing too much though- so its not my fault ), so we've been at the hospital every day this week almost getting it packed- thats just a blast, let me tell you ive had a pretty easy recovery i guess, especially for a c section- i havent even needed the percoset they gave me, motirn is fine
