Since 2AM I've had very painful contractions. And not to offer TMI but I've lost my plug.

I'm doing a little shopping on the net and watching the Princess Diana concert, just trying to stay relaxed. I never realized how in love with Duran Duran I am.

I really don't know if this is it. For almost 2 weeks I've had nearly the same feeling. This time there is a lot more tightening and in addition to the contractions in the front I can also really feel them all in my lower half.

Still no baby. Contractions lasted all day yesterday and I dialated to about 6cm's(I was already 5) and then everything just stopped. My MW isn't worried and thinks it's funny that by the time I go into labor I'll be fully dialated. This little one is just taking her time. She also suspects that even a sneeze right now could break my water.

I'm staying in bed because walking is very painful. Later when DH is done laundry(this whole stay in bed thing makes him pretty useful) I think we'll go on a short walk.

Oh, honey, your labor sounds like my labors! I think things can get a little tight in there and some babies need some work and lots of little nudges to get their head in just the right position for dropping through. Once she's ready, it will probably go QUITE fast from there. I know the waiting and the not knowing can be hard on the mental state. Hang in there - you are so so close. Thinking of and vibing for you!!!
