Nursing mommies in July - Page 9

Moonprysm, how frustrating! Not knowing like that’s got to be hard, chicken pox shot or no. I hope you get a definitive answer soon one way or the other.

BakerALM, yeeowch! Right in the stomach?! That’s awful. That goodness it all turned out okay!

As for us, it’s CD 30 and still no sign of AF. It’s getting harder and harder not to test! I went through my calendar and counted all the days of my previous TTC cycles and the shortest one was 26 and the longest one was 31. (I was actually surprised there was that much variation; despite keeping track I’d never compared each month to the others, and thought most of them were around 26 or 27 days.) So that means I won’t be technically "late" until Tuesday. I'm 19 DPO right now. Two more days, then, but the urge to test is rising… rising…

Is it possible to O before the first PP AF appears?

Not only is it possible, it is likely.

I wonder the same... :

I vote you PUPO. Pregnant until proven otherwise! That montrous jump again today is right into fever territory! I've never seen a temp that high : - are you sure your thermometer isn't acting up? FWIW, I still think you're pg.

Now I know better (on many fronts). :
How scary, mama. I am glad she is okay, but it is so hard not to feel bad about decisions you made before you knew better. Been there, done that in many areas. s:

If you're sure of your O date, then I don't think you need to wait any longer to test! At 18dpo my software (ovusoft) automatically assumes I am pregnant. It's likely that the 31 day cycle, you ovulated later. : for a mama! I doubt you'll even need FMU at this point :

It sure is! The longer you have to wait for AF to return, the more likely you will ovulate before you see your first period. Are you having O-like symptoms, mama? (Or maybe pregnancy symptoms

As for me, CD28 and I think I finally ovulated yesterday. Guess we'll see. That is the latest yet, I think. I am considering starting the B6 again next cycle. Ugh I have heartburn today. I don't know what caused it :

sssshhhh..............sharing a secret!!

My sister just told me she is pg!!!!!!! I am so excited and bursting to tell everyone but have been sworn to secrecy (irl anyway )
: :
She is a nursing mama and has been ttc since last august or september, almost a year of frustration - and it is all over now and we couldn't be happier!! Her son is only 3 months older than my ds so we are really hoping that history repeats itself.

And I had a little excitement of my own this am when I temped. My temp is climbing up and it looks like MAYBE I actually o'd!! I suppose we will see over the next couple of days. I have been having some oish symptoms like sore nipples, some stomach cramping yesterday, lower backache, and moody hormonal stuff.

Maybe our next kiddo's will be even closer in age!!

Thanks for letting me share.

I have never heard of that but it sounds like a faulty test to me and I think you should take it back to the store!!

I agree with the PUPO vote! :

I am really hoping that happens to me!! It is so hard to figure out a "cycle" and guess what your body might do or not do without af to at least break up your cycles. I just can't shake this feeling that my body is really trying and that it is going to happen soon. Of course, I could be delusional. I am starting to feel like I have a permanent home on this thread!

Well, I've been tracking my CP and CF and yesterday I had EWCM and my cervix was open and high, and DH and I BD last night so I'm wondering if it's possible I O'd or am going to soon. I think I had EWCM again today but it could be leftover baby batter I'm not sure how to tell the difference. Anyway, I'm just thinking (obsessing) about it today and wondering what our chances are of conceiving before I ever see AF.

OMG!

So I hung on and waited until today (when AF was due) to test, and it was immediately positive. We weren't actively TTC yet, but of course we're thrilled! Hooray for Vitex!!!

Yeah, it's not my thermometer, but I did wake up feeling pretty feverish this morning. I'm probably going to leave it out if it's back down tomorrow morning, but even DH thought I was crazy because I woke up and asked if he had forgotten to change the thermostat before we went to bed because I was dying and he said it felt just fine to him. I also didn't sleep well, so *shrugs*. But we DTD today and usually if AF is on her way that'll bring her on, but nothing. Not so much as spotting. Hmmm. This is getting really annoying. lol I'm going to freak out if we managed to get pg by accident when it took us 8 months of trying and 1 miscarriage to get DS.

Tiffani - : for a ! I vote you pg if that counts for anything

Elaina : - that is so exciting, : for O! Also, that is fantastic news about a new babe in the family.

Sarah - CONGRATS!!! WHat wonderful news . HH9M!

Well, I'm pretty shocked at myself this month. I am 11DPO (I think?) and haven't even seriously thought about testing yet. I've got so much going on I haven't had time to obsess. Feels good. I think I'll be able to make it until friday before testing. Gotta say, though, I'm pretty sure I'm not pg anyway. Mind you, I was positive I was last month, so perhaps I shouldn't listen to my internal messages

Hi ladies,

I was gone most of yesterday, so I'm catching up. Congrats to all the BFP! Very exciting!!

My chart just confuses me. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/14fd50 I thought I was about to O on the 4th or 5th. Yet didn't have a temp shift. Then today my temp was WAY up, in the numbers like last month, so I'm sure its my temp shift. I use fertility friend, but also have a trial of the Taking Charge of Your Fertility. If I trick both things and put in high temps for tomorrow and Weds, fertility friend gives me dotted O line yesterday, but TCOYF gives me O on the 5th. I know its because I didn't have anymore eggwhite. Very confusing. When I get the actual line after temping the next 2 days I'll have you ladies who know charts look at it. We have good "coverage" both times, just would throw off testing by a few days and confuse me.
Thanks everyone!!! You guys are amazing. I feel really happy about this, though it was a bit of a shock--despite all the obsession in the 2ww, seeing those 2 lines is still somehow a total surprise!

I took the vitex for about 2 months and really think it made a big difference. My first PP cycle was really weird--short bleed, then a really long cycle before the next one--so I started taking it after that. The next 2 were perfect 30 day cycles, I clearly felt O happen, CM looked great, and obviously I'm fertile! I didn't notice any effect on milk supply; I was taking 5 capsules a day.

to all of you!

I decided to forego the blood test today. I called and cancelled my appointment tomorrow. I've decided I am not going to dive myself crazy over this. It's not that hard to treat myself as though I'm pregnant until proven otherwise. I need to change my eating habits a bit (which I need to do anyway) and that's pretty much it. So...yeah. I didn't even test this morning because we spent the night with a friend. I did temp, and it was up again (although lower than yesterday - I think I may have had a bit of a fever yesterday morning so I discarded the temp). If AF hasn't shown up by like, 20dpo, I'll consider calling my OB for the blood test again.
