Do you totally love the smell of baby poop...?

I only BF, and I absolutely LOVE the smell of sweet lil' Bella's pooh... LOL

Am I alone?

Hum, while I certainly don't mind the smell of her poop, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I love it

i totally know what you mean i do love it most of the time!! but Caroline is maybe allergic to something because we are having issues with poop being green and mucus and it stinks!!( but she isn't gassy or fussy, pretty sure its not to much foremilk or anything)

I love the pee smell. I have heard it isn't supposed to smell, and when we occasionally use a 'sposie it doesn't, but something about the hemp diapers and pee together that smells really good to me, almost like Old Bay seasoning. Weird, I know. DH wants to commit me!!

I have to add formula to my breastmilk for the extra cals so not so much. But his sisters always smelled like popcorn to me

Love it, no It's certainly better than toddler poo though!!! Dh changed so many poo diapers when dd was little that he suddenly found that a lot of foods somehow smelled just like her poo. When he told me I was like, "You're going crazy!" then he'd give me a whiff of the deli meat and I was like "Eww, you're right"

I love Baya's BF poopy smells Derrick think im sick in the head, but i also LOVE the smell of BAY~Bay's breath after she nurse.. whichs all she does lately.. now Derrick does love that.. he's like let me smell the milky breast milk,, he is the best daddy ever

You must have a new born because it gets worse as time goes on. Wait until you introduce food, then I think you will feel different.

Yes, I like the smell of BF baby poo too. But the others are right the odor does change as soon as other stuff is in their diet. And speaking of baby poo....we have a friend whose watching a babe who is formula fed so the babes poo is green. Their DS age 4 says she is "hulk poop"

I love the pee smell too!!! Not so much in the sposies, but on cloth, it sort of smells sweet. And I am totally guilty of actually sticking my nose close to the diaper or little potty to take in a big whiff of ebf poo poo smell! : I'm always looking behind me to make sure DH doesn't see me do that.

Funny, I never even considered loving it! It is just there, but it doesn't gross me out. I do love DS's CDs, I love washing them, sunning them and I miss buying them! What is it about that? I guess we just have so much oxytocin as new mamas that it makes us love that about our babies, too. I am glad I am not a wild animal that has to lick up her babes' bottom!
