chd- congenital heart disease. He was born with a coarctation (pinching off) of his aorta, his aortic valve is a bicuspid rather than tricuspid valve, he has a hole between the ventricles in his heart, and the entire left side is about half the size it should be. He had surgery at two weeks old to fix the coarc, but if the left side doesn't grow by the end of the summer he may need 3 more open hearts to reroute his blood and give him a 2 chamber heart.

I just finally got recent pics uploaded and made an album with selections starting at Christmas with belly shots up until this morning!
