How often do you re-visit your c/s agreement?

For those of you who get c/s or who are supposed to get c/s, how often to you revamp and re-visit the agreement? ds' father and I were never married and he currently gives me monthly c/s based on our state's online c/s calculator (this is NOT court ordered, and I have decided against doing it with the court since I do not want him on the b/c). DS is only 4 months and as I look forward, I know that it will get increasingly more expensive to raise him.

Does your agreement specify how often you will adjust your payments? How does this work?

Thanks!

In MA there has to be a 20% difference to ask for a change. I'll probably ask in a year or so (so 2 yrs later). X got off too easily.....

I'm wondering the same thing. Has anyone put in their parenting plan that there has to be a recalculation every six months or so? What's to stop him from just never speaking up about pay raises? Is anyone going to be keeping track of his income (or mine for that matter)?

In NY the cse agency requires every two years to revisit the issue.

my ex tried to get it decreased less than a year after the trial, the judge dismissed his motion and granted my legal fees. I was really nervous about that whole thing until it was dismissed.

In MI they give you the option every 3 years to decide whether you want to recalculate and modify the child support.
