I got the Emjoi OptiPro - but you can get whatever you like, I just suggest you look at the e-opinions first to compare. If there's a lot of reviews saying something sucks, don't buy it!

PCOSer here aswell. I had lazer hair removal about 8 years ago and had alot of success with it, Until I had children and had about 65% hair regrowth. I've been thinking about going back and having another few treatments done but well its not "mommy and daddy" paying for it this time. I have shaved and it is not the best. I find that if I can pluck its finer, I've also had a lot of success with bleaching it. I'll have to try the empolater (sp?). I also tried Nads and IMHO it was a PITA.

I had one of those in the early 90's. I think it was called Gently Gold and I bought if off an infomercial and it was so painful and horrible! I'm glad to hear they've come a long way. I was just looking at Target the other day trying to decide if I was up for torture again.

So, for the underarms, do you have to let it grow a long time before you can use it? I think with the old one I had, it was 21 days. Or can it get really short hair from just a couple days growth?

I have PCOS too and get awful sideburns that I wax at home. I don't like waxing though so it would be great if this could work.

Hello!
I deal with noticeable facial hair myself. I used to bleach my upper lip but my skin is so sensitive that the harsh chemicals would cause my skin to break out. So in my search for a more natural method I came accross threading. I do threading on myself for my upper lip and may start trying it on the rest of my face. It's cheap, really effective, and pretty easy once you get the hang of it!
