I don't often post on here, as my other two little ones don't leave me much time for it, but I wanted to share my good news! I had my midwife appt this morning and they said I'm 4cm dilated, baby is at a 0 station and my cervix is super super soft. I lost my plug yesterday throughout the day and I've had a bloody show all day today, so hopefully baby will decide to make his/her arrival in the next few days or so! I've been feeling very crampy, but nothing constant yet.
My midwives keep two tubs that they bring with them to the births. WELL, they had us bring home one of the tubs with us today!!! I'm so happy about this because I've been thinking about planning a secret UC birth and just calling the midwives when it was "too late", but my main concern has been that I REALLY wanted to birth in their tub! Well, now I can do that if I want to. I may decide to call them and forget the UC, but I think I'll just play it by ear and see how I feel when labor starts to kick in.
I was feeling SO annoyed with my dh this morning because he's been whining like such a baby that he has a kink in his neck and can't turn his head or something. OMG, I just want to say, "I've had a KINK in my hips for the last 5 months and it hasn't stopped me from doing the most simple things!" He seems to have stopped whining about it this afternoon though and even helped me get the house super duper clean. (I can't remember the last time my house was this clean, seriously!) Now we just have to find things to do out of the house until baby arrives so I don't have to worry about cleaning anymore!
