Making a quilt out of my kid's baby clothes

Does anyone have a pattern? I don't want a huge blanket...hopefully a twin size or toddler size.

Just measure the finished size you want, and then make a bunch of 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 squares (I found that size to be the easiest to get out of baby clothes...maybe 6x6 if you're using very tiny clothes). Figuring 1/8th margin around each side, and how many inches / 8 that you would need to make the size you want.

hope that makes sense

If you are looking for a more intricate pattern, there are a lot of resources on the web, but because of the various types of fabrics in baby clothes, I found it easier to just use squares of each, rather than try to make triangle/circle/etc in my design. But of course you can always make a design out of squares too I cant find the online designer atm, but I know there's a little program that lets you arrange your blocks and see what you end up with. Since you have so many fabrics/colors though you'd probably be better off designing it yourself once you had them all cut out.

I made queen size ones for my two oldest. Just cut the squares the size you want and sew. I did 4x4 and I would recommend going bigger if you can it took forever.

cut the squares the size you like them and them use a sheet that would fit the toddler bed to use as a guide for the size,i would make it a bit bigger than the sheet tohugh if you are making it for a toddler bed that way it will overlap.

Instead of cutting squares from the clothes I sewed the clothes to some squares and made a small quilt like that. Just iron the items flat and tack um down. Looks awfully cute!!!
