Is it possible I'm not sitting on it right or something? I've been sitting here at the computer on my birth ball for about an hour now and my feet are numb! What the heck am I doing wrong? There's no way this can be right...

I dunno, Rachel, I can find I can't maintain ANY position in ANY location for an hour or longer without something getting tingly or numb or sore lol. The weight of our babes is really getting significant these days!

yeah, i agree with bee. it's probably just being in the same position for some time.
i don't know that there's a "wrong" way to sit on the birth ball. the first time i sat on it, i was like, "what the heck is this for?" now it's making much more sense to me. i do know that every single time i sit on it, i stay there for a few minutes, and i have to PEE!!! even if i just went seconds before that, and after i go, i go sit back down on the ball, and i have to go again fairly shortly. so, it's definitely shifting something around in there for me!

It may be over inflated. Your hips and knees should be in line when you sit on it. So taller moms need fuller and bigger balls and shorter mom need smaller and shorter balls. My guess is that if your hips were much higher than your knees or vise versa, then your blood flow would get messed up.
