I am compiling a list of sites where you can order fun cotton fabric that is also affordable. This is what I have so far:

Tree Fall Design
Z&S Fabrics
eQuilter

I like fabricshack.com - they have a great selection and fast, reasonable shipping. Also their sale section has some fantastic bargains. I also like ciaspalette.com - their selection isn't as bit but shipping is free for orders over $50.
If you buy a lot of fabric, you might look into fabric co-ops as well.

I absolutely love Sew Mama Sew. I wouldn't call it affordable necessarily, but they have a great selection of stuff that you can't just buy anywhere. And their blog is awesome.

And woo-hoo! Drawing Room by Anna Maria Horner is now available! Love Anna Maria's fabric.

If you're willing to wait a bit, co-ops. There is a fabric co-op for just about any type of fabric you could want. Well most any type. Some brands like marimekko, Svenskt Tenn, and others don't allow co-ops. But anything made in the U.S. has a yahoo group that co-ops it.

Online Fabric Shops

I buy a lot of fabric online. My favorite shops are
http://www.sewmamasew.com/
http://www.fatquartershop.com/
and
http://www.beesquarefabrics.com

None of these are all that affordable, but I love the sale sections, and I love the fabrics.

I was making a lot of baby quilts for a while, but have slowed down on that and am trying to use up my stash right now. After that I'm going to go on a crazy shopping spree.
