I am just feeling supremely silly, because I have been e-baying maternity clothes like crazy, and my mom was mocking me. Yeah, I know I'm not even showing yet, but I will show soon! Okay, maybe the summer clothes were silly since we're due in mid-Fed and live in the Northeast, but whatever! I feel like with dd I was in maternity pants by 12 weeks. Not tops, but surely pants. Anyone else remember with previous pg? Anyone in maternity already?

I'm in desperate need of maternity clothes already. I'm only almost 7 weeks and nothing I own fits without making me feel cut in half. I definitely was in maternity pants at 12 weeks with DS.

I'm borderline; I'm wearing thai fishermens pants most of the time because nothing else fits, but I don't want to go and buy new maternity clothes yet. Where the heck are all the elastic-waisted skirts this year? Hmm?

I went ahead and bought summer maternity clothes because they are so cute and so comfortable. I kind of needed them or at least felt more comfortable in them around 5-6 weels, but the bloating seems to have dissipated a bit so I'm back in my pre-preg clothes for now, trying to keep the bean a secret for a bit longer.
I know what you mean, though; the styles are so cute that when I start wearing them full time, people are going to think "new romance" before they think "new baby".

I'm normally the least fashion-conscious person you'd ever want to meet, but I just can't resist.

I am in desperate need of maternity pants so that translates into me wearing maternity shirts already, actually.
All my jeans and pants are way past the rubber band trick so they are basically unbuttoned and unzipped as far as they can go. I have to wear maternity shirts to cover my unzipped pants!
As soon as I can I am going to go buy a pair of pants or two so I can wear some buttoned pants and some regular shirts again.

I've been trying to hide my baby belly I already have at 7 weeks, but I'm running out of options. I bought some more maternity shirts and am doing the rubber band trick, just wishing I had the guts to wear my maternity jeans. But once one of my friends sees that blue band it's over!

I suddenly popped out at 8 weeks 2 days ago. I can still fit in my regular clothes but I will probably be in my elastic waist (non-maternity) skirts at 12 weeks and not be able to stay in my fitted shorts.
It is weird: 4-6 weeks I was bloated, then I was flat for a week, now I have a pooch in the lower abs!

I'm 9 weeks and still trying to hide it so I'm wearing all my elastic-waisted summer skirts and cotton blazers... not many of my pants feel comfortable any more.
I have maternity clothes that I bought for last pregnancy and I can't wait to start wearing them after 11 weeks. And yes.. definitely looking online for more.. it's too much fun! I'm so glad the fashion these days is empire-waisted tops and trapeze style tops ... there's lots of non-maternity clothes our there we can wear. And I'm sure Forever 21 etc is cheaper than Pea in the Pod!

I started wearing my pants on my hips and that started hurting, so I started to wear a pair of maternity pants for the first time on Monday to work. That's probably the only place I will wear maternity clothes.

I've been wearing my maternity shorts for the past 8 months.
I went to Motherhood Outlet last week and bought some CUTE stuff - I couldn't resist. I LOVED my maternity dresses last time around, but they look silly right now, so I'm counting the days until I can put them on.

I can wear some of my maternity shorts already and I wear some of the smaller shirts but I'm in the inbetween stage where I feel like nothing looks good.

I lost a ton of weight in the past 6 months, so I have a lot of bigger clothes I can fit into before I need maternity clothes this time. I'm actually smaller and have gained less than any other pregnancy. Strange. By this time in my others I had gained at least 10 pounds water weight and was in maternity clothes.

I've got a pair of materinity pants that I've worn a couple times. I'm trying to hide it right now, so unless I have a long shirt to cover the waistband, I don't feel comfortable wearing them (though I can breathe more comfortably in them!). Fortunately, empire waists are in, so I got an empire waist shirt at Walmart, and it's long enough to cover the waistband of my jeans, so I'm finally comfortable!
On a slightly different note, am I the only one who doesn't buy into the "sexy momma" look? I'm dreading getting big again, b/c last time I had a hell of a time finding something that fit and wasn't skin tight. I'm sure I'm alone, but I LONG for the days of shapless maternity wear
. Anyone know where I can find some of this? (Oh, yeah....the fact that I'm plus size XL-XXL doesn't help me any)

I bought some capris today. I don't need them, somehow I've managed to lose weight, and I don't have ms yet, so I have no clue. But I need capris and the practical side of me said that it makes more sense to buy them now. Besides I live in California and I will be wearing shorts and capris well into "winter".

I am wearing some maternity. I like mine, and it consists of mostly skirts with stretchy rolled waistbands, which are fashionable anyway.
I have extra skin and a shelf of skin from previous c-sections anyway, so I have extra tummy to begin with.

My clothes are getting a little tight (middle of week 6), and I found my first teeny stretch mark on my belly. YIKES, I hope I don't get too big too fast! Anyway, tight pants feel awful right now, and I'm running out of things to cover my butt with. Mostly I'm sitting around in my underwear with my husband's XL t-shirts on.
For those who seek shapeless maternity wear, I think that Liz Lange's line at Target has a lot of "basics" that are roomy and non-form-fitting. My sis worked at Target and got me a few maternity shirts on clearance, and they're all long sleeved and boxy (and I presume they will be very comfy!). Old Navy also has a maternity line that has some good stuff, too. I'm waiting to get hand-me-downs before I spend too much on maternity wear!

Her stuff runs a bit small in the bust, FYI.

I don't remember sticking out this early with #1, but I think he did a number on my ab muscles.
