s/o: What are you not avoiding?

That maybe you should. This isn't a pissing contest post, let's not get into that. But I do feel like there's stuff I should be avoiding that I'm definitely not. I would DIE without hoagies and lunchmeat. Artificial sweetener I'm trying to limit, but it's probably pretty high. Soft cheese, I just love it. Most of it, I don't even think about it until after. Or it just tastes so good I can't help myself! Anyone else? I know I can't be the only naughty one!

Caffeine - although my one cup of coffee a day is still well within limits (and I'm switching back to decaf after I run out of these pods.)

Sushi - if I want it, I'm still eating it. Although I think most of the sushi I like the best is cooked anyway.

Oh, and lunchmeat. like at subway. But I always get mine toasted anyway, so maybe that helps?

Physical activity. The bone-numbing tireds have set in and I might feel better if I treated myself a bit more like I was made of glass, but I can't. I'm a single mama by choice and a big strong gal (well, maybe not THAT big) who has to do things for herself because I really don't have much choice.

Mostly deli meat. I was much stricter about it last pregnancy but this time this tired mama just wants to slap together a ham sandwich once in awhile and call it a day.

I'm microwaving the salami first, but I'm not giving it up. I'm also not giving up California maki. My local sushi joint is very fresh and clean, with chefs who've worked for more than twenty years at the bar. It's not like I'm ordering puffer.

My logic is simple - Japanese women and Italian women somehow manage to have babies, so I bet I can too

caffeine. coke really helps with the nausea and i haven't found caffeine free coke yet.

Caffeine, and some foods; a few deli sandwiches and a Caesar salad that I didn't think about till afterwards.

As far as general health and diet go... let's just say I should probably lay off the Ben&Jerry's already!

I was thinking that same thought the other day

I have been on a kick for a while so nothing I can think of... it is the hidden crap that gets me.

thanks for asking, I had no idea either.

I love sushi, and I had a piece last night and felt so guilty, then I though that I am sure that there are plenty of Japanese women.... (Writerbird apparently great minds really do think alike!)
oddly enough the sushi didn't taste as good to me as it normally does, all I could taste was the nori not the tuna and I LOVE TUNA. Sigh.

Other than that I have never been a cafeine drinker, I don't like deli meats and I don't drink diet pops, or any sodas really...

Oh I know I love white sugar and all things made with it, oh my golly I do love the sweets... I've been trying not to have so much, but it's hard!

I am trying to be good, but I haven't been limiting the amount of my junk food till just late. so I'm trying hard to cut it out, but it all goes back to the tired thing. Im exausted my kid is hungry and I can't opent he fridge for fear of dry heaving (and then my daughter thinks that is sooo funny so she starts making fun of it egging it on more). So we run out fora quick lunch I feel guilty for feeding it to her, but what ya do? So I'm trying to stop it.

And if I'm out I'll get coke b/c I hate sprite. sometimes if they have Mug rootbear I'll get that b/c its caffine free. And I do get caffine free coke at home but trying to limit it.

Oh today I had bluecheese in my sandwhich and I realized it after the fact. But looking back I don't know if it was a good idea just because it didn't sit well, but of course (and I'm totally not complaining here) but nothing is sitting well these days.

My bad bad thing is diet coke. I went right off it last time but my morning sickness was severe, and while I am having lots lots less than usual, I feel bad about every sip.
I'm allowing myself the occasional caffeine-free diet coke, the occasional pizza, icecream, etc. If it tastes good and seems like a good idea, I'll generally eat it :
Curse morning sickness Where the heck is it when I need it to help keep me away from the crap???

Oh man, I've been craving Lemon Pie lately. I'm trying not to go wild with my diet because I don't want to have much to work off after the baby comes. with pg#1, I gained 60 lbs !!! took me about 8months to work it off with minimal exercise. Then with pg#2, I only gained 25 lbs following the same type of diet as I did with pg #1. So after pg2 I was pretty much back to normal as soon as my uterus went back down. Can you believe it!! It was awesome!!! so with pg#3 I was hoping for the same results but no such luck. I gained about 50 lbs.
So with this one, my "plan" is to exercise some and stick to a healthy diet to try to keep the extra pounds off... but I haven't exercised yet and my diet has been so-so. It's too tempting to just say "ah forget about it!" when pg!

I finally caved in to my cravings for tuna and shrimp, and had them the past couple of days. Also had deli meat a couple of times, and artificial sweetners a bit. Otherwise I should try to eat a bit healthier, I get healthy stuff in but then also plenty of not so good stuff too

Everything that I couldn't eat hte last 6 pregnacies.... I had Heperemesis all of my previous pregnancies and I could eat virtually nothing for the first 4 months of my pregnancies..... here I am eating everything!!!!!!!
I love all food now and I know that I should control myself but it is so awesome to be able to eat. I love caffeine and I have sut down a bit but it does help with the nausea and that allows me to be able to eat. I am finally having a normal pregnacy!!!! I just hope that this holds and I don't have to have some other crappy replacement for the ms.
Plus I will blame all of my horrible intake on my DH, he is the one shopping and getting me raspberry turnovers with chocolate drizzle.... he is the one responsible, not me I just eat what is put in front of me

I'm still drinking coffee in the mornings, usually 2 cups. After that, I'm caffeine free.

I've been drinking caffeine free cokes for 10 months now--the baby hates the caffeine in breast milk, so I switched over. No need to switch back now.

I sometimes have a cup of coffee if I'm going to be working late. And there have been days where the only thing I could stomach for breakfast was potato chips. But I'm not sweating it too hard.
