Yes!

yup! it really helps if you can be in the driver's seat! there's something about being focused on driving that keeps you from getting carsick.

I almost barfed in the car last weekend with dh driving. It doesn't help that he drives like Steve McQueen, but usually I can handle it fine if I don't try to read while I'm in the car. But on Sunday I was literally green in the face. He said, "oh honey, I'm so sorry. You have to remind me not to drive like this." I said, "will it remind you when I puke in your car?"

I get carsick even when I'm NOT pregnant! I'm the designated driver all the time - whether he's had a drink or not. We have a serious roadtrip coming up in mid-August, praying that the nausea is gone by then or I'm going to be driving for 16 hours!

here too! dh drives a bit like Steve McQueen too and there have been a couple of very very green moments! lol

I definitely noticed increased car sickness just the other day with dh driving and he was driving just fine. We also have a 8 hour car drive coming up next week and I am SO not looking forward to it.

Me too, I've always gotten really car sick, but now it hits sooner. It's horrible. And I don't think there are annoying questions, 'cause if there were I would have been run off of MDC a long time ago!

I've gotten really carsick ever since I was a kid. I can never be the passenger, I am always the driver. But when I am pg I get really sick even when I'm driving. I HATE it!

YES. I get motion-sickness generally, but it's much worse right now. Probably doesn't help that morning-sickness to me feels just like carsickness...

luckily for me my dh is one of the few drivers i can ride with without feeling sick (in general) and for the most part if i'm not ridng with him i'm the one driving.

however, a couple days ago we went to a park and i sat in the middle of a merry-go-round holding dd, and seriously thought i was gonna hurl.:

yep for me too.

i actually have a little bit of a horror story where i was NEVER motion sick until m/s with my first and then after i wasn't pregnant anymore i still had motion sickness. to the point where i can't swim in the ocean anymore because of the rocking motion. it sucks. i've also noticed that the m/s is worse with this pregnancy, bleh.
