Maddy and Micky arrived on 6/27. Maddy was 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 1/4 in. Micky was 6 lbs even and 19 1/4 in. Maddy had some grunting/gurgling going on at first and was placed in the NICU with CPAP. She was back on room air after about 5 hours. Micky had no immediate issues.
I was released on Sunday. However both girls are still in the hospital due to ABO jaundice. This is something totally unrelated to early delivery or multiples in general. I dealt with it with two of my full term singletons.
They took the girls early because I developed pre-eclampsia. I am still having some issues with it. Funny how this whole pregnancy I worried something awful would happen to the girls and it was ME who got sick in the end.
