JULY TTC in our 20s! - Page 10

No reason that I can think of for the suddenly-consistent temps. That's why I sort of wonder if my body is gearing up to O now, although my CM is way more sparse now than it was a few days ago. Every so often I'll see some stretchy stuff but it's mostly not fertile CM.

I'm new to this thread.....but I have a question. Does anyone else here believe that charting with good old fashioned pen and paper is better than FF or similar on-line tools? :

I just don't trust the on-line tools as much as I trust my own eyes!

I don't necessarily think it's better (but then I'm new to charting), but I am too lazy to switch a computer on It does feel more "in control" though to write it down, and it gives me some time to spend thinking about my body. I don't see any solutions to my problems online either. So keep on handwriting! :

Songbird i just don't know. I am sorry. my body is not being nice to me this cycle eather. if i O when i think i am going to af is due the day i leave for my Utah trip. sigh. I am hoping she dosn't show at all and i get my but you never know.

I keep a chart on paper and I have FF. I like having it on paper 'cause I can make notes of things my basic FF membership doesn't allow for. It also allows me to analyze it over and over when I'm not in front of a computer - okay maybe this isn't a good thing

Songbird - I still thinks its possible you have already O'd and maybe that's why your temps have evened out. For me, I often have a gradual rise after O and not a sudden jump and your last few temps seem to be heading upwards. Although if you are at all in doubt I would keep BDing.

I don't rely on the computer's analysis 100% but I like having it on the computer because then I can get multiple opinions if the computer's analysis doesn't match my own (like now!) or if it's sort of unclear to me what's going on. Also it takes care of a lot of the busywork involved in charting.

For those of you who chart on paper, where do you get charts? Do you just use graph paper or is there some place you can download charts?

My temp was finally over last cycle's coverline!!! I'm DEFINITELY sure I've ovulated now, although I'm not sure if it was yesterday or if FF's interpretation is correct. FF's interpretation gives me better bd timing, and if it was yesterday we probably missed the egg this time around.

Songbird, FF's O date looks right to me! hope that means your timing was right on! Good luck!

I ovulated!! Woohoo!! Now I can relax and enjoy the 2WW - okay, that's not likely to happen, but I'm still excited!
Songbird - I also think FFs interpretation is accurate - good luck!

I hope so! I'm glad I'm charting, because with how late O was I would have definitely tested for pregnancy by now! And Dh and I could NOT have handled 39 days of bd every other day! Gillian, I will definitely relax and enjoy the tww! Waiting to O you have to worry about fitting bd into your schedule. In the tww you can watch your chart develop, AND you know pretty much when the tww will end! (Barring a particularly weird cycle).

And I have to say that I'm very relieved that I actually did ovulate. By the time O actually comes I get pretty worried about being infertile.

I am the same way. The week before I am to o I am more stressed than during the 2ww! I worry that we will miss the egg or I will not realize I am o'ing until after my temp rises. Once I know I o'ed and our timing was decent I feel like I breathe a sigh of relief.

my body seems to be so confused! thurs and fri i had ewcm and my cervix was soft and open. normally i would be happy about that, but it was only cd8 & cd9, and my temps are still down at pre-O levels. oh well! my dad came out this week and helped us totally overhaul our landscaping. i've been doing back breaking maunal labor every day this week, so i've been too tired to BD. today's the last day of the work though, so maybe dh and i will have some time to get to work on this baby!
crap. could someone look at my chart please?!?!

i thought i Oed on the cd15 and we bd'ed cd11,cd14 and cd15 but today all the sudden EWCM has started again : dh alreadyahem.. took care of himself today so we wouldnt be able to bd again til tomorrow

CounterGOPI: Does your DH have low sperm count? If not I would say there is no prob with BDing today! , Im not sure you Oed yet...maybe, but you should keep BDing cause I wouldnt by any means call it "confirmed". Good luck, and I hope you know soon!

As for me...still just waitin!!!
no low sperm count but i though it takes 24 hours to recharge?
and my chart is looking pretty good liek i oed on cd15.its actually never looked that good plus my temp went up again today.
i was told you get ewcm throughout your cycle so maybe thats just it. its not tons and tons liek i was having a couple days ago... :

Yea, I think if your temp stays high, then I wouldnt worry about have EWCM after O. I would think that you Oed on CD15, but I wouldnt quit Bding until you get a few more high temps! I just wouldnt want you to miss it just incase you get a BIG temp jump tomarrow:
As for 24 hour recharge...I think thats how long it takes to "fully" recharge, but unless you are dealing with low sperm count, I dont think theres any problem with a 10 or 12 hour recharge.

CounterGOPI - I just posted about this on the 2WW thread. I am having the exact same problem. I am (supposedly) 2 dpo, but I just noticed some ewcm AND a little trace of red spotting. So, I am now freaking out. I have a very clear temp spike so I'm not sure how it is possible that I am just ovulating now. I am hoping and praying that maybe it just took 2 days for this to make its way out. Maybe?
This is soooo frustrating!!!
