JULY TTC in our 20s! - Page 11

Hi everyone-I'm just joining this thread.

AF just ended, and DH and I are going to start TTC #2. Hopefully we get preggo right away. For now, I'm not charting or anything, we're just going to DTD every other day, and hope we get lucky. Here's hoping we all get preggo soon!

Monday Check In

Last Monday of the month!

Name: Songbird
Date: July 30
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 49, either 10dpo or no O, depending on chart interpretation.
Appointments: None. I said I was going to find a doc but just haven't gotten to it.
Symptoms if they apply: I'm no longer seeing stretchy CM.
Testing: Not for a while.
Thoughts: My chart has been confusing me. Every day I alternate between thinking I've ovulated and I've not. Yesterday I was sure I hadn't, today I'm thinking maybe I did, again. If I have, it'll mean I spent the whole TWW trying to figure out if I O'd instead of obsessing about symptoms!

Monday Check-In!!

Name: Gillian
Date: July 30
Where are you at in your cycle: cd 30, 4 dpo
Appointments: None
Symptoms if they apply: None
Testing: I'm going to start peeing on sticks on Aug 5 - Only 6 more days!
Thoughts: I'm just trying to stay calm and not get my hopes up over every little symptoms. So far, it's not working

Where are you at in your cycle: cd12, no O yet, hopefully this week though
Appts: none yet, if i have another 8-9 day LP, i will be making an appt with the doc
Symptoms: not a one
Testing: gotta see when i O before i start thinking about that
Thoughts: i'm so hopeful that my LP will be longer. last cycle was my first after i quit EPing:, so i'm hoping that this one will actually be normal. DH is usually in the "let's just let nature take it's course" camp when it comes to TTC, but this cycle he's even agreed to "try". i'm really hoping it works, cause the last 2 cycles our timing has been good, but it didn't seem to make a difference, since the LPs were way too short.

Monday Check-In

Date: 7/30/07
Cycle Day: cd 13
Appointments: None
Symptoms: None
Testing: I was going to be really conscientious about the OPKs, but it's been a rough, busy month. I'll use one later today.
Thoughts: My DH is still in the "let nature take its course camp," too. I'm in a weird, difficult place at work right now, and everything would feel so much better if I could just be pregnant and have that to focus on. Pregnancy is worth all the anxiety and effort. I could put up with anything if I knew that the payoff was as valuable and worthwhile as having a baby. DH understands how frustrated I am with my job, but he still thinks I should relax and just let things happen.

it's a frustrating spot to be in, isn't it? i hate when i want to be romantic with DH, and his first question is, "are you Oing?"

Monday Check in:
Name:Jenn
Date: 7/30/07
Where are you at in your cycle: 7dpo
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply: tender breast, cranky
Testing: not for a few more days
Thoughts: I hate mornings!!!

Yesterday I had a big time drop in my temp. Then, today it shot back up higher than it was before the drop. So I'm hopeful that it is a implantation dip. I guess we will wait and see what the next few days of temps will tell. I hate waiting on this kind of stuff. It's like Christmas every month.

Monday Check in:
Name: Ashley
Date: 7/30/07
Where are you at in your cycle: CD9
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply: still spotting from my saline-infused ultrasound
Testing: I'm gonna start OPKs probably tomorrow
Thoughts: Well, the game is on. I'm undergoing testing for recurrent losses, and all seems to be normal. I had the world's most painful saline ultrasound last week, and I won't be doing that again. Because I'm on progesterone, I have to start using OPKs this month. I didn't want to be this involved, but it seems I have little choice.

At least this week I realized how far I'm willing to go with possible infertility treatment (the answer, not much). So, we know that much so far.

Date: July 30
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 10
Appointments: I have a foot bath detox on Wed.
Symptoms if they apply: I've had creamy CF for about 2 days
Testing: I've limiting myself to 3 OPK's this month

Thoughts: I had a longer period than usual...but don't think it means a whole lot. This is our first month TTC after our m/c, so I'm happy to feel "normal" again. I feel like I'm moving out of the mourning stage.

Cycle # 4

Name: Lounge Lizard
Date: July 30
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 14, 0 DPO
Appointments: IUI, bloodwork, and ultrasound this morning, no more for two weeks.
Symptoms if they apply: None, I felt a little bit pre-O bloaty heavy ovaries yesterday, like I was ovulating, but I knew that the HCG trigger shot I had yesterday morning wouldn't make me ovulate until tonight. This morning's ultrasound showed that I Oed likely late last night. Bah.
Testing: August 14, blood test. I'm sure I'll be peeing on a stick by the 13th though. . .
Thoughts: This high-tech stuff is for the birds. I'm a tad bummed that I missed out on two inseminations, but my timing was still good, just not optimal. My sperm counts were excellent - over 21 million. Woot!

Name: Rachel
Date: 7/31/07
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 18
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply: pre-o cramping, EW and Watery CM, irritability

Thoughts: Not sure what to think. I just want to be post-o so I don't have to worry about OPKs, CM, cervical position, BD timing, etc. any more. This is always the worst week of my cycle for me.

This seems WAY early for you to have o'ed. My temp was up this morning too and this would be the absolute earliest o for me that I am ever aware of. I think my high temp was a fluke so tomorrow shall tell. Any chance it was just hotter in your bedroom last night?
