Round three

In the Custody Case That Would Not Die. It's been over a year since he filed the custody suit, and ex has just hired his 3rd attorney (he's fired the first two). And it's evident that, as I anticipated, he has given the new attorney an incomplete picture of the case. It's enough to make me want to . In the long run, all this is just going to make the ex look not so good. In the short term, it's a lot of time and effort and expense for everyone.

On the up side, I went court clothes shopping at the thrift store and came out with some rather smart, perfectly fitting separates that go perfectly with a great pair of shoes I have. Ah, there is a silver lining to every cloud

My ex had me in and out of court for years......it totally sucks. Stay strong mama.

Why is he seeking custody?

WOOHOO to the clothes though......

Ack! I have one of those too!

Sounds like a real pr!ck. But...What comes around goes around. I strongly believe karma will bite these people in the a$$ eventually.

Glad you found some good court clothes. Having something you feel good in always makes a big difference!

We never married. We been living in this state for a little over a year (after moving here from my hometown) when the relationship really went south. He filed the custody suit to keep me from moving back home with DS. He thought I would capitulate and give into his demands and beg him to take me back. Well, let's just say he was taken aback when I hired an attorney .

Well I think that'ds unfortunately what happens- an incomplete picture. No one is going to talk up their X's strengths.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

Oh, it'll rain Kool Aid on the 4th of July when my ex talks up my strengths !What I mean by him giving his new attorney an incomplete picture is not telling his attorney everything *official* that's occurred. My ex will paint a picture of the case, and his own conduct, and lie by omission. I feel sorry for his new attorney - this person has a lot of forensic work ahead of him, and will likely be pretty uninformed and look incompetent at least until he figures out what he's dealing with.
