Does anyone have experience with the Feldenkrais Method?
My dd2's teacher is concerned that she really has a hard time sitting still for long, that she sometimes bumps into things because she is not careful while she walks, that she tends from time to time to fall off the chair because she moves so much, that she has difficulty following directions.....
I think at 4,5 these things seem normal to me.
And she is otherwise a kid who has good gross and fine motor skills - draws well, and loves slides, swings, bike (with wheels, of course) has tons of imagination and extensive vocabulary in two languages and who plays well with kids her age...
Anyway, her teacher said that the Feldenkrais Method could help her become more aware of her movement and of her position in space, be better coordinated....
I have found a good practitioner and she could take dd2 for weekly sessions starting September. But this is very costly, and I am not sure if the insurance will pick this up.
