I really thought we were done so I'm planning on relishing every moment of this pregnancy. I have a list of things I'd like to do this time that I didn't get around to in previous pregnancies like taking weekly belly pics, making a belly cast, taking video of the crazy 3rd trimester belly movements and taking pictures of my kids with my big belly.

Besides sore breasts and some fatigue I feel great. I haven't had morning sickness with any of my previous pregnancies so I hope to avoid it this time too.

I'm due around March 4th but I've never gone to my due date before. My other boys were born 12, 5 and 28 days early respectively. I had to have an emergency c-section for my 3rd so I'm really hoping to have a VBAC this time.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy 9 months!

Kate
You give a very good point here. This may very well be my last also so I should make the most of it and save all the things I can from it.

I think I already have Pregnancy Brain. So far this week I've lost my cell phone, my credit card, and last night the keyless entry remote to my car!!!: I really need to stop losing things. I've never had a problem with losing stuff!!

Oh my goodness, I hear you on the pregnancy brain! And the dreams, too. Does anyone else have really long, involved, nonsensical dreams while they're pregnant? That's always the first sign for me.

O yeah! This morning I was dreaming about deep fried breaded mice. And you could see their eyes through the breading.. but it was more like Sweet and Sour chicken type breading. And rats were eating the mice and talking like they were human... I guess I've been watching to many rat movies and previews for other rat movies.

I was in NYC walking around & there was a hotel & it was being guarded by a drooling pit bull the size of a horse & the dog had an erection, and that's what kept non-guests from going in.

Ewww! A red rocket (the size of a horse's) that has to be worse than the beady eyes of the breaded mice

Hi, I'm Lowell (rhymes with Noelle). I think my due date is March 11, and this will be #2. I took two tests, and I'm really tempted to take the other one I have just to see it be positive. I feel good so far. I seem to only be getting nauseous during the night-I feel pretty crappy when I get up to pee-but I can definitely live with that!

I'd love to join too!!!

I think I'm due March 11th (or pretty close). This is my 7th pg and I'm praying hard that it sticks!

delaneymom- Where are you in NC if you don't mind sharing? What kind of birth are you wanting?

MissAnnThrope-I'm in the triangle area. We live in Willow Spring which is about 30 minutes south Raleigh. How about you?

I'm hoping for a VBAC. I'd love a home birth, but I don't think I can convince my husband. Do you have any recommendations in this area?

I'm in the Hickory area. I go through Durham every few months. You probably have more options out there for a home birth than I do. I might get lucky to find some one from Asheville to come down here but I'm not getting my hopes up on that.

I'm Julie.
March 5th here... 4 m/c's behind me.
sigh... wish me luck.

planning a 3rd homebirth as well.

Oh yes. Usually involving ex-boyfriends. : This morning I dreamt that one of my ex-boyfriends was just returning from his wedding with the entire marching band, which he brought into this sweet little French restaurant I was dining in (well, trying to). He was totally obnoxious and he and his marching band friends filled the entire restaurant with noise and confusion. It was totally annoying, and definitely weird to see them all in their marching band uniforms at this age.

I've had about 3-4 pg dreams already, and they are just crazy!

I've also been forgetting things. Mostly it's things like the other night, when I forgot to put 3 ingredients into dinner. It turned out okay, but sheesh!

I am really enjoying this already. : It took so long to get pregnant that I'm trying to enjoy all the weird stuff and write off most of the yucky stuff.

Hi and congrats everyone!!

I think I'm due around March 3rd for #2. We are so excited about this new blessing! So far I've taken three tests and I have another one waiting. Last pregnancy I lost count I took so many! I'm trying to cut back this time but it's hard!

I hear ya about the pg dreams! Like Romana9+2 they're often about x-boyfriends which is really random!

They changed my due date to March 8th today I had a ultrasound
post #36 of 88
Met with the midwife today for an intake appt. & to get some progesterone, answer all the preliminary health questions, & get blood drawn. March 7 is now the official EDD. Not sure if/when I'll have an ultrasound, I'm sure we'll talk about that more in 2 weeks at the longer first appointment.

Moms with more than one babe: did you find out the sex of the baby while pregnant so you could talk about it in concrete terms with your existing children? Andy will be just over 2 when this one comes, so I'm not sure if he'll benefit by having a name to put to the babe or if that would just confuse him. George wants a girl SO BADLY that I feel as though he'll need some lead time to get over the disappointment, just in case it's another boy, and I'd like to know how many frilly, ruffly longies I'll need to knit, but at the same time we didn't wait last time, so I think it would be fun to wait this time. *sigh* decisions, decisions.

With my dd we thought we knew... the ultrasound lady said boy... two arrows pointing to a penis... and she came out a girl we were not ready for that one.

We also found out with ds because dh wanted to know (his first baby) This time I've already said I didn't want to find out this time. It was fun getting that surprise with dd.

I don't know if knowing if it is a girl or boy will make a difference with my other dc. Just calling it a baby or "the baby" will be good enough for them.

We didn't find out with #1, and I don't think we'll find out with #2 either. I think I'm going to be disappointed if this baby isn't a girl, since DH most likely won't let us have a #3. I sort of want to know the sex beforehand this time, which is strange because last time I had no desire to know before the baby arrived.

I'm Jill, due 3/16 with #2. Very special due date because it's the day we found out we were pregnant with our sweet Riley, who died at 11.5 weeks, this past spring, and also the day before we conceived dd in 05!

We'll be finding out if we're having a little ghoul or goblin right before halloween.

This is #2 for me and I've taken 2 tests! So far, the EDD is March 8.
