Thanks for the update! Yea! I am a little jealous of these July 4th babies! What a great day to be born! She will get fireworks for every birthday.

That sounds like a pretty great birth story...and even better for a first birth. Way to go Jo! Make sure to enjoy the little bits of extra sleep you may get over the next two days. It doesn't last, but life with baby just gets much sweeter!

Jo- Your little angel sounds a lot like my little angel. Bella was 5 pounds 12 ounces at birth, and she was up to 6 pounds 9 ounces at 2 weeks. She is also a 45 min/side nurser, and I know that is helping her gain weight fast. Congrats again!

I thought that was so cute that your dh stayed awake watching you in the tub, thinking you might drown! and I also loved the image of you, naked, eating with a trash can next to you!
